So these are the boots that I desperately want for Christmas. I know, they're UGG boots. Which most people say is because "They're So UGLY". In this case though, I think they look better than your average UGG boots. I have a pair of Sugar brand sheepskin boots, but they're wearing out and the soles have basically no tread.

They're the boots that I'm going to go stand in line for at 4am on Black Friday. The store is giving out gift bags to the first 100 people in line, and they're doing a promo where you get a free $25 gift card for spending over $150.

I finally learned my lesson about buying cheap boots. I had a pair of Emu brand sheepskin boots that had horrible soles with no tread. The tread compressed down in a few months so I was essentially walking around with slippery, smooth soles. It was dangerous and I almost fell down on cement numerous times before I finally got rid of them. Then I got my current pair, which are better, but still not made as well. But they have a really cute pattern on them and I get compliments every single time I wear them. My mom always tells me "you get what you pay for" and in this case, it's really true. So I'm finally just going to get the Ugg shoes instead of cheap knockoffs.

  1. My sister has those exact boots (she bought them when she was in Vegas) and she really loves them. ^^ I wish I didn't have huge calves because then I could wear boots too. I will live vicariously through you guys. :-)

  2. aww! Well hopefully boot companies get the memo and start making them with bigger calf sizes, because that's a pretty common occurrence from what I understand!

That's so funny that she has the same ones! I'm glad to hear that they're actually nice in person, since things are always different in the marketing photos.
