The first one up is BaubleBar. I talked about the daily bauble last week. Well, this week they're doing a St. Patrick's Day promo, where you get a free item with any $30 purchase!
Here's the link to use to pick your free item. The catch is, you cannot combine with other promo codes, shipping doesn't count towards the $30 limit either. It's also One Per Person, which I appreciate since that gives more people a chance.
Personally, I love those little bow earrings!
Next is the deal from TwistBand. They are one of the featured items in Birchbox, and originally I didn't get what the big deal was. Then I used my twistband and totally fell in love and wanted to buy more! Turns out that Social Goodie has a $20 gift certificate for $10 available.
The fine print on this is that you have to use the whole amount at once, create an account on TwistBand to use it, and shipping is $4. The shipping amount is flat rate though, which is nice!
Social Goodie donates money to charity from each sale of these gift certificates, so I thought that was really cool.
I ended up picking up the 3 month subscription box from Twistband. With the coupon it cost $14 after shipping, so my total spent including the amount I spent on SocialGoodie, was $24. It would have been $34 otherwise.
Third is Beautyfix! They're a company that I reviewed before in a prior blogpost. They're run by Dermstore, which is another featured brand in MyGlam this month. Funny how it's all so circular!
Today is the day that they released their Spring 2012 line. Truth be told, I was not meaning to actually order my box. That's the only thing I do not like about the website. There is no confirmation page before your card is charged!
I ended up ordering with the code BFMKUP in order to get $20 off, because I already have ordered before. If you are a NEW member, use the code BFBLOG to get a $30 discount off of your first box! My last box had a pretty large value, so this is a great deal as long as you choose your products wisely.
This time around I'm getting iDivine Eyecolor in Shambala, BeautyFix Makeup Bag Duo, All Over Eyeshadow Brush, Nick Chavez UltraShine Honey Peppermint Conditioner, Kelly Teagarden Organics Eyecream, Eboost Orange Energy Packets, Perricone Nutrive Cleanser, Batiste Dry Shampoo and then SkinMedica Vitamin E & C complex.
My total after tax and shipping was about $30. I still consider that to be on the expensive side and will make sure I cancel after this month because I was really not looking to spend money right now. But if you aren't on a budget, or looking into Beautyfix, this could be a great deal for you!
Last but not least is Julep! The Julep Maven boxes are always awesome, and I love them. They're another subscription service that costs $19.99 a month for your personalized profile box. You take a quiz, but you are not stuck with that profile if it doesn't happen to match you on a particular month! You can switch profiles for the month, or skip a month entirely with no extra charge and no hassles. Right now they're doing a promo to get your first intro box for ONE PENNY. That's just nuts. the code for that is COLOR2012.
If you're interested in taking advantage of that deal, here is the link to their site!
Okay everyone that wraps up my "Deals" Blog for the week! I hope you all are having a great week so far and gearing up for St. Patty's Day!
Thanks so much for reading.
